Lets all just take a moment and think back to any childhood memory. Chances are that Smarties feature in at least a few of them. Parties, movies, picnics, holidays, the list of Smartie fun is endless. Along with growing up and losing our free thinking nature, we also slowly move away from Smarties. This is a great campaign by Smarties Australia, where adults and children get to collaborate and create a masterpiece. By getting children and adults working together you get the best of both worlds.
The 8 Colours of Fun campaign is all about pairing 8 children – one for each of the Smarties colours – with 8 artists. This duo is then tasked with coming up with an artwork that is inspired by their chosen colour. The journey, from the brainstorm to the final product, is documented and blasted out on Smarties Australia’s Facebook and YouTube channel.
If anything this is a fantastic campaign that shows how children see the world, lets hope that you too can take a little of the children’s enthusiasm and incorporate it into your life and work.
