Global stats updated in real time

If you haven’t noticed this fact, then now is the time to come into the light. I am a sucker it seems for facts, stats and figures, but only so long as they are represented in such a way that my ADD mind can cope with them.

So when this link got sent to me I was like a chameleon in a tree. Happy. Welcome to Worldometers – a real-time representation of births, deaths, cars produced, money spent by government, computers sold, blog posts published, number of obese people in the world, cigarettes smoked today and so much more.

And the scary part is that these numbers are startling. Would take a screen grab, and add it here, but by the time you take a look at the site these numbers would have probably grown significantly. My suggestion? Take a look for yourself.
