Nintendo unveil brand new console this week at E3.
We did a post a few weeks back about the rumours that were circling around a new HD/Next gen console that Nintendo were working on. Well Looks like we were right. Nintendo have unveiled the Wii U this week at E3. At first glance it looks very Xbox like:
However, it’s radically different from Microsoft or Sony’s consoles and visions, with a large touch screen controller that works with the main console and your TV. Here is what the controller looks like:
Nintendo have a load of uses for this new technology, most centring around the ability to see different view points on the controller screen and the TV i.e. being able to look around using the controller, peer around corners etc. Here is a pic of the console and controller together:
They have announced a massive lineup of games which should get the ball rolling nicely for Nintendo. What do you think of the new console? Hit or Miss?
