Electric Tron Lightcycle hits the Streets

Every geek out there watched the movie and then fantasised about themselves cruising around on one of these badboys. Well, ditch the wet dream for the real thing.

Last year Parker Brothers Choppers created the first Tron Lightcycle and they have come back to the project with an electric version.

The all-new Electric Tron Lightcycle is powered by a 96 volt electric motor and lithium ion batteries. Its top speed is in excess 160 kmph, and its range is 160 km on a single charge, with a mere 35-minute recharge time.

Pricing and availability is unknown at this point, but as a reference, the old, gas-powered version costs in the vicinity of $55,000.
