Linkin Park add a unique twist to gaming

Will these guys ever stop? Arguably the world’s best rock band, Linkin Park have joined forces with the Lotus F1 team to create the worlds first digital rock experience, a racing game app for iPad called Linkin Park GP.

The game puts players into the driver’s seat of the Lotus E20 F1 car and allows them to drive around in a fully 3D environment in a quest to create a unique remix of the latest LP track, Burn it down.

As users drive, audio tracks and live effects are mixed in real time in response to your actions. As no user will venture through the game in the same way, the result will be unique each time you play the game! – Awesome.

The only downside to this is that the app does not work on the original iPad. I suppose if you have not upgraded already, this will certainly give you some incentive to do so…
