NFS Most Wanted multiplayer video

Drive it like you found it, the new multiplayer gameplay video for the upcoming Need For Speed Most Wanted game.

 

Ever since I first heard that Criterion games (the guys behind the Burnout series) where involved in this new edition of NFS my interest perked. I have been a huge fan of both franchises and the amalgamation of the two seemed like a perfect fit. This new multiplayer video shows that to be true. The open world racing that Burnout was famous for is strongly represented with the array of licenced vehicles courtesy of EA and a dollop of police activity and you have yourself one hell of a game.

The trailer shows the ability to find cars across the map and jack/take them for a spin, this is an interesting concept and one that works well with the familiar NFS Autolog style multiplayer. It seems the NFS team took a few pages out of the SSX team’s book with these easy to start drop in multiplayer challenges. The game of course looks beautiful with some awesome water reflections on the roads and a very cool new HUD system that helps you keep your eyes on the road.
