F1 Race Stars gameplay trailer

You would be forgiven to think that F1 games are only for hardcore driving simulator fans, for years that has been the case, but now F1 Stars is here to bring F1 racing to everyone.

F1 Stars is an exciting new game by racing sim veterans Codemasters. However unlike other F1 games, F1 Stars is an arcade racer with powerups, ramps, weapons and giant dinosaurs. To me F1 Stars looks like a beautiful mashup between F1, Trackmania and Wacky Wheels. It features official teams and drivers (in a pretty cool cartoony way) and features 4 player offline splitscreen and 2 player online splitscreen. It looks like the days of physical social gaming are not over – great work Codemasters!

The official gameplay trailer has just been released and shows a glimpse into the wild ride that F1 Stars promises to deliver. The game launches on November 16th and is available for pre-order from today.
