About our reviews

We review games fairly and without prejudice, the reviews are the opinions of the author and the PixelVulture team. Our objective is to give you a good idea about the game to help you decide whether it is worth your hard earned cash.

We use a percentage review system so as to provide accurate scores across 3 key elements of a game; Story, Presentation and Gameplay. Depending on the genre of game these titles are adapted slightly i.e. for sports or multiplayer games that don’t have a story we will substitute game content instead.

In addition to the percentage score we will give the game an overall rating. Our rating system works as follows:

• Less than 30% – Kill Me Now
• 30 – 50% – Terrible
• 50 – 60% – Poor
• 60 – 70% – Average
• 70 – 80% – Solid
• 80 – 90% – Excellent
• 90 – 100% – Amazing!
