Sony Motion Controller is called PlayStaion Move
So its not called the Arch. Thank the Pope for that!! But this is Sony’s answer to Nintendo’s Wii and Xbox’s Project Natal.
And it looks amazing!!!
Sony are going to have multiple packages for us gamer types to choose from. A standalone Move controller, or a package with PlayStation Eye + Move + a game, or an entire console solution. The Eye and Move and game combo will be less than $100 (700 ZAR). The preliminary launch window is September (Spring)
One of the games for it is called Sports Champions, a package style game with lots of mini games inside. One demo is a swordfighting duel game (awesome) with a sword/mace and shield, similar to the swordfighting game in Wii Sports Resort, but now you get a shiled and that is pretty cool! This needs two motion controllers though.
They have upgraded the old Eye Toy, called it the PS Eye. This thing is pretty rad, it lets you do augmented reality stuff. You can pop a tennis racquet onto your Move controller on screen.
No mention of whether or not they came in pairs? So if you want to play the games that require 2, you will need to buy 2. Smells like Wii to me. hahaha.
Motion Fighters (Dukes) looks to be a whole bunch of awesome, a street fighting game that makes you make the entire motion instead of just flicking your wrist.

I can’t see this thing going mainstream enough for publishers to care. Don’t get me wrong, the tech is awesome and has lots of promise, but its likely to become another Super Scope, cool but nobody has one. Sony should have waited and bundled a Move 2.0 in with the PS4.

I think you could be wrong about this hey. This is something PlayStation fanboys will get into and because of that the publishers will get stuck in. I could be wrong & u may very well be spot on but I just think tech like this wont go begging. The same thing could then be said about project Natal. What u rekon?
