Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Soundtrack

Its been about a month now that I have been playing this awesome new installment in the FIFA and Electronic Arts series. The gameplay is AMAZING, boasting over 100 tweaks to the FIFA 10 game. In short, the game is awesome, I absolutely love playing it.

But this post isn’t about the game. This my friends is a post about how fantastic the soundtrack is. It has something for all music lovers. From Indie to Reggae, its all in there. The soundtracks to the FIFA series are always great with plenty cool new indie artists featuring on it, the World Cup Soundtrack has not disappointed in this sense. While some of them are only new to some, they are all pretty cool.

EA SPORTS 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ captures the sounds and history of the musical landscape in Africa with a rhythmic, tribal blend of 28 songs representing 20 countries that, through mass exposure to football, videogame and music fans, will become synonymous with the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ worldwide.

Somali-born poet, musician and rapper, K’NAAN, headlines the soundtrack with his song “Wavin’ Flag Coca-Cola Celebration Mix”.
