One of the greatest iPad apps – Flipboard – is now available for iPhone. Flipboard is a simple and stylish reader app that takes all your favourite feeds from popular news sites and blogs to your Facebook and Twitter streams, and compiles them into a user friendly interface allowing you to literally flip through everything.

The original fruit ninja took the world by storm, second only to Angry Birds, and is featured in top10 app lists across the web. The problem they now face is how many different ways are there to slice fruit? Well as it turns out, a lot! Half Brick have just launched a Dreamworks Puss in Boots themed version.

We have all heard how the iPhone camera is dominating the world of photography and allowing the everyday masses to talk professional style photos with a huge range of apps, effects and filters.

So Apple has released the much anticipated iOS 5 with 200 new updates and features. That’s a lot of new stuff. We all know about a handful of features but what about the rest?

Last night was the first ever South African iPhoneography exhibition at the Apple iStore in Sandton, JHB. The evening was an incredible success with a great turn out and loads of incredible images shot using iPhones.

1st of September sees the opening of South Africa’s first iPhoneography exhibition. The exhibition is set to take place at the Sandton Apple iStore on September 1st 2011 and will showcase some of the best iPhone photos taken by SA iPhoneographers. This is a really cool idea, a great way to showcase the iPhone as well as the diverse range of talent across SA.
